He received his PhD on "Influence of Urban Culture on Malayalam Novels" in the year 1997 from Kerala University. Dr. Sudheer served in various illustrious positions like HOD for Malayalam in M.G College, Thiruvananathapuram from 2002 to 2009, Principal of NSS College, Rajakumari, Idukki district from 2009 to 2010 and as Principal, NSS College, Dhanuvachapuram from 2010 to 2012.
